CLAIRE’S FINAL CHALLENGE
The start of 2012 has brought some exciting changes and possibilities, and along with it the end of me blogging for The Little Sage! What a brilliant and enlightening experience for me – although I originally agreed to undertake these challenges for a little hobby (and from Helen’s perspective, to prove anyone with no prior ‘ability’ can learn these skills) I personally think there was some other reason for me agreeing to this.
I started off my challenges clearing out mentally, physically, spiritually and emotionally in addition to learning to meditate, automatic write, clear negative energy, create positive affirmations – all of which built up to me providing ‘practice’ readings for our volunteers! I have no doubt I learnt these skills for a reason, which really prepared and assisted me for what turned out to be HUGE changes for me throughout the end of 2011.
For those of you who have been following me from the beginning, you will remember I was very open about having negative thoughts (the normal thoughts of ‘why does she get a promotion and not me?’ or ‘it sucks I can’t stay in this beautiful hotel overseas because I can’t afford it’) which, although I still think this here and there, I now catch myself and try to turn them into positive affirmations. I have learnt the foundations which will assist in my life course and am so eager to continue developing and tweaking these abilities – even if it’s as simple as turning negative talk into a positive affirmation!
What I find most exciting about my time with The Little Sage is knowing that anyone and everyone has the ability to try and master these skills. Believe me; I never had any kind of inkling that I could do any of this… no signs, no ‘visitors’… nothing. But now that I have undertaken these challenges I find I am more receptive to what is occurring around me and can actually tune in on things, things that Helen can confirm which is pretty cool! Helen always told me having psychic/medium ability is like playing the piano. Some people are born tone deaf and others are born prodigies – but along the way anyone can take lessons and learn – all to different degrees of success. I certainly agree with this, and the proof is in the pudding – if I did it then so can you!
I have finished all of my practice readings now and I can definitely admit I had some rock bottom moments but I think overall I actually did really well! I am by no means anyway NEAR Helen’s standard and don’t strive to be, but have had such a fun and interesting time learning some skills along the way!
For those who have been asking – I have absolutely no regrets and am really enjoying my time off. I am ready to begin work again and will start looking soon. I know 2012 will be an amazing year for me; I have huge plans and dreams which are slowly coming to fruition. But I am most excited about meeting Helen’s little bubba and spending a month overseas by myself exploring. When my website is up and running (which should be quite soon) we will link to it so if you feel inclined you’re welcome to pop over and say hi or have a sticky-beak.
Thank you for your support and all the best for 2012!
