Ever feel like there is some greater reason for you being here – if only you could figure out what it is!
You can, and it needn’t be too hard to figure out. At birth, we are each designed with a particular set of strengths, talents and skills unique to us. As we grow, these will change and develop – but they provide the first clues as to what your purpose is. Not everyone’s purpose is to be saving the world or curing disease (although, every little bit counts!) and whatever you have to contribute is most important.
What makes you happy may be another clue to your purpose. What are some of the things you would fill your time with – even if you weren’t paid for it, or if nobody else liked what you were doing? Those things which feel good to you, that make you happy when you spend time doing them, also highlight your purpose (and provide another reason not to feel guilty to take time out to enjoy them!)
Remember as a child being asked: “What do you want to be when you grow up?” Your answer to that question might also reveal some interesting insights into what your purpose is. Now, not everyone who wanted to be a firefighter, for example, is meant to be, but your response may reveal additional clues. For example, the firefighter response may reveal more about your drive to help protect and serve others.
Each of us is here to share our own unique strengths, talents and skills with whomever we come into contact with – that is part of our purpose. And in doing so, you will no doubt feel happier and more content within yourself for having shared that something special.
While our life’s purpose may take a life time to be fully revealed, in any given moment, our purpose is to be present, to be enjoying where we are and who we are with. And if you can enjoy being there, than that’s really your job done.

This week surprised me. Some friends and acquaintances of Helen’s (who I don’t know/haven’t heard of) were kind enough to provide their photographs for me to read! We haven’t included their photos here, mainlyto protect their privacy, and we’ve not used names either – just in case!
I really thought this week would be easier than last week as I could actually see the person (and look for clues if all else failed…) but I didn’t do as well as last week. I definitely good some pretty good hits, but not as much information as I received reading names.
So here goes: Read more »
Ever wondered what your life would be like if you woke up tomorrow and everything was exactly as you wanted it to be? Just imagine if your life was filled with people, things and situations that simply flowed and worked. What would that look like to you?
Asking yourself this question is also a good way to begin visualising the life you really want. Try asking yourself: “If I could wake up tomorrow and be living anywhere, doing anything and be with anyone – where would I be, what would I be doing and who would I be doing it with?”
Let your imagination run wild – don’t censor your answers. Try jotting down your answers in a journal or notebook and once you’ve exhausted yourself of picturing your perfect world, look back over the list.
You may now like to look at what answers came from your heart and which came from your head. Answers from your heart are likely to resonate with you at a very deep level. Heart-based answers will be the things you’re passionate about, that align with who you really are and why you’re really here. Your head may have contributed answers which aren’t really what you want at that deep level, but which you think will make you life better – like millions of dollars, or the perfect body or the perfect partner. Or maybe you think the idea of escaping would simply solve all your problems!
To help make this heart-felt vision for your life a reality, you might like to try creating a vision board to reflect your dreams, or start working on some positive affirmations to turn your dream into a reality.
What does your perfect world really look like?

I am so impressed with myself this week. I think this is the best job I have done for Helen’s challenges. The reason being, this week Helen got me to do readings for a series of names – people I have not met or heard of before, nor had any clues about - and I had a lot of success reading for people I didn’t even know! (Please note, these people gave consent to be read for, but we have changed their names in this post to honour their privacy).
Once I did my grounding and protection exercises, I started my readings. I had nothing but my notebook in front of me. Weird. I couldn’t really get anything. I was starting to think this is a dud task (or I’m a dud ‘psychic’) and “What the hell am I going to write about in the blog!?” Embarrassed that I would have nothing to write about, I decided to give it one last go – and I used my angel cards for each person. Woah…… I had so much information come through it wasn’t funny!
Here’s a run down of each reading: Read more »
We had another scan this week and were able to find out the gender of our baby. I’ve been dying to find out – not only because I am impatient and wanted to see our baby’s development (all progressing nicely), but largely because I wanted to see if my suspicions on the baby’s gender were correct.
And, it would seem that I was wrong!
For some time now, I’ve been convinced we are having a boy – in my visions, I’d always seen the baby as a male. So, we were naturally both quite surprised to be told we are expecting a little girl! For those who read Claire’s post last week, this is a great validation for her! Our other sister had said from the start it was a girl – largely to prove me wrong! (More on that in a later post…)
Being asked by clients, family and friends the gender of unborn children is often a sticking point for me. I rarely ‘see’ children, but sense them as energy. So, I was surprised to have ‘seen’ my children – particularly visions of this little boy. I can also read energy from photographs, so on closer inspection of the images from the scan, the energy of our little girl does seem to be the same as what I’ve connected with so far, which is reassuring for me.
The most interesting part of the day for me, though, was on the way to the hospital. We took a different route there to try and avoid peak hour traffic. Along the way, I noticed a sign on the side of the road which included the girl’s name we have earmarked. It’s an unusual name, so I thought it surprising to see a reference to it on the way to the hospital. I jokingly asked my fiance: “Do you think it is a sign?”
Having arrived at the hospital early, we stopped in at a coffee shop. I took a seat facing out into the street and was watching the traffic go by… when a mini van drove past with the same girl’s name written on the side of the van! I couldn’t believe it and told my fiance (he was facing the wrong way). “It’s a sign! It’s a sign!”
A few minutes later, we got up to head across the road into the hospital. I was joking about how we MUST be having a girl if I keep seeing this name, and without a word of a lie, the same van pulled into a parking bay on the side of the road we had crossed to, stopping right beside us, girl’s name glaring us both in the face!
To be told it was a girl shouldn’t have been much of a surprise!
I’ll post again later on some of the theories I have on seeing a boy rather than a girl, but for now wanted to share our news.
Yours, intuitively

I’m so thrilled to say I’m enjoying being a first-time expectant mum – and using my insight and intuition in a whole new way now to connect with my baby before they are born. Pregnancy has opened up a whole new area of exploration for me – not just the concept of becoming a parent, which requires exploration enough – but the area of energetically connecting with my baby before they physically arrive in January next year.
For the past few years, my guides have indicated that children were coming into our life. They had hinted at timing and, while I know I am not in control of all the ‘hows’ and ‘whys’ in my life, I had (naively?) thought I still had some time up my sleeve before the first child would arrive, that maybe we’d get to control the timing.
Part of my daily routine is meditation and through my practice of meditation I’ve actually been ‘introduced’ to my children, even before I was pregnant. I’ve been shown several clairvoyant scenes of the future, with us living in a different home, working in different ways and working around having these children in our lives. Fortunately, it looks like I enjoy being a mum! It’s also interesting that since I’ve fallen pregnant, I’ve gone back to this picture in meditations and one of my children is no longer in the scene, as they have been ‘pushed’ on to me, and the other children continue to play in this scene, waiting for their turn to arrive.
While I have a suspicion (and have since I saw those meditations) as to the gender of my first child, for now I’m keeping it under wraps (except for sharing my suspicions with my partner and family). We will have medical confirmation next week on whether my suspicions are right. While I’m not sharing this info yet, I can share a sense of my child’s energy I’ve already become familiar with – they seem quite similar energetically to my fiancé – calm, creative, incredibly patient – yet, I get a sense this child is very playful and happy. My guides have also taken great pleasure in showing me this child’s ability to continue my learning to be more patient and let go of control!
Psychically, I knew immediately when we fell pregnant. I could actually sense a new energy around me for the first couple of weeks or so. After that, I noticed it more sporadically – I was also incredibly fatigued and a little unwell, so no doubt this affected my ability to be energetically clear and aware!
It is also beautiful to already be shown the impact this child will have on my partner and our extended family. I’ve been shown a lot of connections between this child and other family members, and that their soul is no doubt joining us to help with other lessons, growth and healing. I can’t wait to see it in action.
Lots of expectant mums report sensing when they fall pregnant, or intuitively know what sex their baby will be. Have you too known your bub before they arrived?
