Get creative

The importance of creativity comes up frequently in my readings – both for people who work in creative fields and those who simply need to find and/or invest time in their own creative projects. Despite having worked in communications for years and being surrounded by very talented and innovative minds, I never really valued the true importance of creativity. It’s only now that the topic has been presented in my readings for others that I’ve actually put two and two together!

Through these readings, I’ve learnt that having some form of creative outlet helps to channel your energy and can also help clear through some of the blocks you may be facing. In fact, when any activity is pursued purely for the sake of enjoying said activity (rather than focusing on a deadline, or payment or some other outcome) the greatest reward can be reaped.
